United Cigars has enhanced their flagship United Cigars Line and will now be rolled in the traditional round shape. United Cigars is not just the name of the company, or their flagship brand, it is an American Icon. The company’s rich origins stretch back over a century, delivering unique experiences to cigar enthusiasts since 1901. Since reigniting United Cigars in 2010, it has been their mission to continue improving on their products and services to their retail partners and consumers. As part of that pursuit, the new format for the United Cigars line will begin shipping in Mid-April.
“This was a spiritual re-discovery of how beautiful Dominican tobacco can be,” said Oliver Nivaud, United Cigars Director of Operations. “Every bale we opened offered a new life to the blend.”
The enhanced blend uses Dominican Broadleaf and tobaccos from the Quisqueya region of the Dominican Republic. Previously featured in a soft box press format, both the United Natural and Maduro blends will now be in the round format with the enriched blend moving forward. The upgraded blend offers notes of almonds, warm dough, bakers spice and a light sweetness on the cold draw. Both blends smoke with a medium-bodied profile and show notes of espresso, leather and a sweet peppery spice.
